Ucan Artist’s Exhibition

To celebrate Learning Disability Awareness Week 2025, you are invited to ‘Ucan Artist’s Exhibition’.

This year, Learning Disability Awareness Week will take place from the 15th - 21st June. To celebrate this year’s theme, Do You See Me?, we are hosting an Artist’s Exhibition on Saturday 21st June from 10 - 2 pm. The exhibition will be an opportunity for our service users’ friends, families, and for the wider public, to come along and see for themselves the fantatstic artwork created by the talented community of vibrant artists that we have here at Ucan.

The artwork that will be presented is inspiring, and will include paintings, collage, pencil drawing, mixed media, and sculpture. The work celebrates the theme Do You See Me? as, through the transformative power of art, our service users’ self expression can truly be seen and admired. Each artist’s individual style and perception of the world around them is showcased in the presented works, which will be set up in our canteen space and will be open to Ucan’s friends, familiy and the public to view the Artists’s Exhibition of fantatsic art work.

The exhibition will be in conjunction with the Ucan cafe, which also runs on a Saturday morning, but will be extended by 1 extra hour to give everyone plenty of time to come and view the art work.

Please get in contact with us if you have any questions.

We can’t wait to see you all there!
