The curriculum at Ucan ensures a balance of classroom based learning and hands-on vocational training. The centre is equipped with teaching classrooms, IT Hub, a Training Kitchen, Craft Room, Music/Recording Room, Radio Station, Gym, Workshop and Garden Area.  With a focus on information technology, literacy, numeracy, life and work skills we also aim to provide real work opportunities either within the centre or with external partners where possible.
